BIODIESEL CONTINUES

My oil sources had pretty well dried up and my biodiesel production was almost down to nothing. I have made almost 1,000 gallons to date. I wasn't sure what was going to happen.

But, when it rains...it pours. I was out last weekend passing out some fliers to a few more of the local eaterys. I had no more than gotten home and one of them called for me to start taking their used oil. The local commercial outfit had just sent him a letter notifiying him that it was now going to cost him $39.00/month for them to pick up his used fryer oil. He's just a small bar, but uses about 30 gallons a month. I do it for free, naturally, and am happy for the account. A couple of days later I met with the owner of a local Mexican restaurant (they own two) and I now have that account as well. They use 40-50 gallons per week. Shit!!!! Now what am I going to do with all of this oil?!?! Well, there are a couple of small biodiesel co-ops around town and I guess I'll start donating to their cause with what I can't use.

Persistence is usually rewarded...most of the time.
